2nd “Flow of Creativity: Painting a Sustainable Future” Taipei Water Department Art Competition Now Open for Individual Entries
The Taipei Water Department has officially launched the 2nd “Flow of Creativity: Painting a Sustainable Future” Art Competition, inviting elementary school students in Taipei (middle and senior grades) to express their creative visions of water sustainability through painting. This year’s theme focuses on “Sustainable Use of Water Resources,” encouraging students to illustrate concepts such as water recycling and regeneration, water conservation in daily life, and innovative ideas for safeguarding this vital resource. Submissions are open until September 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Prizes include up to NT$5,000, certificates of merit, and recognition for instructors, with winning artworks also having the chance to be publicly exhibited. The Taipei Water Department emphasized that in addition to group submissions from schools, individual registrations are now welcomed. No matter which school you attend, if you are a Taipei elementary school student in middle or senior grades with passion and creativity for the theme of water resources, you are eligible to participate. Entries must be color, two-dimensional artworks created on drawing paper size “four-open” (approximately 54.5cm x 39.3cm). Accepted media include watercolor, oil paint, and colored pencils. Computer-generated or AI-assisted works will not be accepted. Schools may submit works collectively, while individuals can register via the online form and mail in their entries. Please complete the registration form at https://reurl.cc/EQeKDn. For detailed guidelines, please contact your school or visit the Taipei Water Department official website. Let’s raise our voices for water sustainability with paintbrushes and creativity, and work together to create a sustainable future!
