The Taipei Water Department will be conducting its annual recruitment activities for new personnel (technicians), with a written test scheduled to take place on April 27 and an oral test on May 18, 2024. Vacancies include 20 staff positions for civil engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers, business administrators, information processing specialists, as well as include 16 certified civil engineers (including those with disabilities), with a total of 36 regular admissions and 45 candidates on reserve. The average monthly salary offered to new recruits could be up to NT$55,000! In addition, the average acceptance rate for personnel over the past two years is approximately 10.5% and the average acceptance rate for technicians is approximately 36.2%.

According to the Taipei Water Department, based on the 2024 annual remuneration standards, the monthly salary for newly recruited Level 4 engineers is approximately NT$55,595 (6 months of probationary period and formal employment upon satisfactory completion).The monthly salary of an assistant (management) engineer and Level 1 engineer is approximately NT$45,955 (6 months of probationary period and formal employment upon satisfactory completion) and the monthly salary of a newly recruited technician is about NT$32,080 (3 months of probationary period and formal employment upon satisfactory completion).
